Hey hey! We’re the Clevesys—a married couple who love travel, photography adventures, hikes through nature (especially with great mountain views), and most importantly, capturing the most special moments life has to offer with cameras in our hands!
We often joke how perfect of a balance we have—Kim is the unrelenting optimist with the most positive outlook regardless of the situation, with Brian as the pragmatic, structured, Type A mind who has a spreadsheet and comprehensive plan for pretty much everything. It’s honestly great, because we dream big…and execute!
What that means for y’all is a well-balanced team rooted in trust and eternal love to be your biggest supporters for your biggest day yet! You can expect lots of laughs, big hype up energy, and a friendship beyond just “getting the job done”.
our story
It all started with a near-death experience…
When Brian was 26 years-old, he traveled to the American Southwest for his best friend’s (and his own best man’s) bachelor party. He ended up contracting “Valley Fever” - a dangerous, sometimes fatal, fungal infection. His health took a turn for the worst, fast. Accompanied by his parents, a Chaplain for the hospital had covered Brian in a prayer blanket and prayed over him in the event that he did not make it through the coming days. In this emotional, unnerving time, Brian asked one simple question: “If I’m to ever see the outside of this hospital again, what’s the one thing I want to do differently?” It was without hesitation, he thought—pick up a camera, and document life for all the beauty it holds.
Brian was discharged 2 days later and went on to make a full recovery with no long-term health issues. And he fulfilled his promise to himself, investing in a camera, gimbal, and drone.
From 2017 on, a camera hasn’t left his side for any adventure, and his love for documenting couple’s unique wedding stories began. Brian moved to California where he met an incredible creative community, lifelong friends, and the life partner of his dreams—Kimberly.
A Floridian at heart, Kimberly lived in California for 10 years before meeting Brian, and boy did he shake things up…from fashion school and high-end taste, to camping in rooftop tents in some of the most uncomfortable conditions, Kimberly fell hard for “adventure boy”, as her friends coined him. After years of adventure, new experiences, over thousands of memories captured, Brian and Kimberly bought their first home in Massachusetts, where they now reside.
In May of 2025 on the beautiful mountainside of Lake Garda, Italy, Brian and Kimberly swore to a life of eternal love for each other in front of their closest friends and family. A day that each other had always dreamed of - yet never knew if they’d actually get to experience - came true.
We hope that our love can be an inspiration to all the couples that we have the honor of working with. Let’s talk all things life! Deep conversation outside of the “small talk” is our absolute favorite.
